All Aboard…Train Team In Sales …

Category: UncategorizedStefan Kazakis @ 9:41 am

Your business will only ever be as good as your employees, and most importantly, your frontline – the salespeople.  Get them to watch videos, read books and attend seminars.  Don’t be afraid to pay for all of this – it’s an investment in your business.

If you don’t have the ability to train your team yourself, consider paying someone to come and do it for you. Your team needs to be able to handle any objections that customers throw up. By using sales scripts and other techniques such as the correct body language, they’ll be able to consistently improve their results.

If you’re employing new sales people, you need to have a training program in place for them when they start. This should be a standard system that everyone follows. Ideally your new team members should read your mission statement, and familiarise themselves with your products and procedures before they get put in front of any clients. Have a more senior sales person show them the ropes initially and then monitor their progress from that point on.

It’s up to you to ensure that everyone is all aboard…

Look at me…PLEASE …

Category: UncategorizedStefan Kazakis @ 8:04 am

The more attractive the product looks, the better chance there is of selling it.  Regardless what you sell and how you sell it there is a packaging theory in every business. Try re-doing the packaging to make it look more modern, or perhaps even more traditional depending on what you are trying to achieve.  Include the benefits of your product on the side of the packet or on your website, brochure or window sign etc…  as well.  It may also be an idea to package with value-added products – smaller accessories, which may also service as a lead in to another product line.

Offering add-on value products can assist you in converting inquiries into sales. Keep this in mind when you’re looking over your existing packaging. Also understand that your product may be competing with others for your prospects’ attention. Make certain that yours is the one that grabs people’s attention first.

How are you looking attractive to your target market?  Are they looking at you?

What is the style guide for your look and does it need a makeover?

This strategy and so much more will be discussed at the seminar I’m running next week. I personally invite you to attend the next  ‘Five Ways to Super Profits’ seminar on the 27th of July

Are we there yet?

Category: UncategorizedStefan Kazakis @ 8:48 am

How often are you asked the question Are we there yet? If you’re like me and have young children the answer most likely is every time we go for a drive. The interesting thing about this question when you’re in business is if you don’t know where you’re going how are you going to get there?

Start with the end in mind… set your goals, company’s vision and learn how to build a great business by having a great plan and taking control of your time…

One of the keys to building a great business and taking back control of your life is to have a plan.

It has been said that we should spend 20% of our time planning. If that seems excessive, spend a little time calculating how much time it has cost you over the years fixing errors, redoing things or simply mudding your way around, and 20% will start to look like a small amount of time.
